Lao Airlines Plane Crash in Laos Kills 49

On Wednesday, October 16, a Lao Airlines flight crashed into the Mekong River in Laos killing all 49 persons onboard. A spokesperson from the Thailand foreign ministry said the passengers were from several countries including: Laos, Vietnam, Australia, Canada, China, France, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United States.
