Marine Officer Dies in a Plane Crash in North Carolina
“Major Luke Parker, 37, of Bandera, Texas, died in a private plane crash in Kenansville Sunday evening after taking off from Albert J. Ellis airport in Jacksonville . . . . The crash is still under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration, which was to begin extracting the aircraft from the crash site Wednesday afternoon, according to NTSB Lead Investigator Eric Alleyne.”
