MH-60S Knighthawk Crashes in the Red Sea with Five Souls on Board

On September 22, 2013, a MH-60S “Knighthawk” helicopter crashed in the Red Sea in support of US military operations in the Middle East.  Early indications suggest five service members were onboard the helicopter, and the search and rescue effort is ongoing.  The links embedded below provide preliminary news coverage of this flight-related tragedy and we at Pilot Law, P.C. are actively investigating this unfortunate incident. We are keenly sympathetic to injured parties and their families in tragedies such as this, having litigated dozens like it in courts throughout the country and abroad and having a former military medical evacuation helicopter pilot among our staff.  In cases such as this, injured parties and families may have legal recourse against various entities, including the aircraft and/or component manufacturers.
