Hot Air Balloon Catches Fire During the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival

Last week several people were seriously injured during the Albuquerque International Hot Air Balloon Festival. Witnesses to one incident reported that a hot air balloon got tangled in electrical wires and caught fire. Both persons in the balloon were treated for severe burns. We are keenly sympathetic to affected parties in tragedies such as these, having litigated dozens like them in courts throughout the country and abroad.  In cases such as these, affected parties may have legal recourse against various entities, including the hot air balloon and/or component manufacturers and the owner/operator of the hot air balloon.
